Silensor snoreguard is the best-selling device among the so-called snoreguard trays (aka. 'mandibular protrusion trays' ) which are globally recognized as being an effective, non-invasive, alternative to the continuous positive airway pressure devices (CPAP) commonly prescribed for snoring and sleep apnea. The tray is placed on the teeth arches and remains there all night, holding the mandible in an upward position and keeping it from drifting backward, thereby holding the tongue in a stable position so it can no longer slide back and obstruct the upper airway.

Unlike many other snoreguards available today, the Silensor snoreguard consists of two trays, one for the upper jaw and one for the lower jaw, connected by two lateral connectors in a way to allow breathing through the mouth and free movement of the jaw.
